Years ago, I was walking around WalMart with my then boyfriend. He bought me a book called “Walk Away The Pounds” by Leslie Sansone. Inside of the book was a DVD.
From reading the book, I learned how Leslie got to be such an exercise guru.
When she was in school, to help earn money, she placed cans out for donations, when she taught aerobics. Some people asked her to make videos.
She once saw people taking a walk in the cool fall weather with the leaves falling.
Then it clicked! Why not teach walking at home! With videos! Thus began the Walk Away The Pounds fame!
Her personality is hilarious. I cannot figure out how she does not ever lose her breath when walking!
Her workouts have various minutes and miles. You can definitely find a perfect workout for you.
Why do I like to walk at home?
—-My neighborhood has dogs. I am terrified of dogs.
—-I am embarrassed of how I look without make-up on.
—-My figure is not presentable yet.
—-The weather cannot dictate my exercise. Let the weather have rain or snow!
—-I do not have a sidewalk that stretches the whole neighborhood. I would have to walk on the road. There are too many dangerous drivers.
About that DVD that was in the book? I began a collection of workouts!
How can you get a hold of her workouts?
—-Buy them from WalMart for example.
—-Borrow from your local library. You may need to order.
—-Participate via YouTube.
—-Participate via her website, which may be found at the following link:

She has zillions of workouts! You cannot get bored! Once you workout with her for a while, you start to act like her!
For example…
“Make sure you drink good, pure, clean water”
“Side to side”
“Kick back! Kick back”
“Walk! Walk! Walk!”
“Thank you my sisters in sweat”
“We’re going to up a notch”
As for that former boyfriend, what did he mean, do you think? Was his gift a way of telling me I was fat and ugly? Was he wanting to prevent me from getting fat and ugly? I just do not know.
There are many people who cannot walk at all. We who can walk should not take walking for granted.
Why not invite some sisters in sweat over to your place and workout together? Remember to walk! walk! walk!
