I am not in favor of using TE for traffic, however, you can use LinkCollider for building followers on Facebook, Twitter etc. However, I am not sure whether these followers will be useful or not as they are only interested in earning credits for following your accounts.

You are right. In my last post I said "social exchange or traffic exchange does not have actual value" because I do not know the power of social exchange and traffic exchange site as I don't know how to use them for greater benefits. A lot of people are like me.

Your assessment about traffic exchange is very true. You should abstain from using TE if you are using ad networks, however, you can use TE if you are promoting PTC, HYIP or referral links. You can even use TE to earn credits and work as a traffic provider by selling your credits.

If you own the ecommerce website, you can get traffic any way you see fit. If you are using someone elses site to earn from, then do a landing page to advertise one product and promote that on a traffic exchange. To be successful, it should be a product the members who surf the exchanges would have an interest in.

If it is your website and if you are not using any ad networks on your site, it is perfectly safe to use Traffic exchange. I have seen a lot of popular ecommerce sites being advertised on Traffic Exchange.
