Best 4 ways to save money

Postby kat82 » 11 Nov 2018, 06:57

Did you know that people who save money are the very people who are successful in life? Or did you even know that savings however little they may be can help you turn life into a success story just like the ones you have? When I was still young, my mum, the person I grew up with used to encourage us all save something off the little we were given.
She told us how saving was a good capital source which was very important for all who had dreams of being successful in the future. This same thing I have realized that what mum said was real after going through a lot and being saved by the money I had saved.

Through savings, many people can achieve a lot. I have a personal savings bank account and as well save my money in other stuff which are salable. I have managed to pay for children school fees in good schools, managed to start a business of my own (self-employed while employing others in need), bought a vehicle I drive, built my own house and others all out of my savings.

To save doesn’t mean that you have to be earning much since savings can be that small amount you can go without. I remember when I opened my first bank account that is about 20 years back when I was still in school, I asked the teller attendant how much money I was limited to save as minimum and she responded that the bank accepted any amount. That is when I realized that I had to follow what mum said and since then, life has always been easier since I am able to do whatever I want out of my savings.

If you really want to know the best ways to save money, this article brings you some of the ways you might consider trying out. And below we go.

Save in a bank – Yes, if you want your money to grow, you might consider saving it in the bank other than in a pot. Money which is in a bank cannot not be easily used even when in need. People say I don’t have when they have in bank. It means that you have to use alternative options if there is any need. Besides, banks will give you interest on saved or fixed monies.

Start business - Did you know that owning a business is like saving cash? Yes, the business will bring in profits which you can save while at the same time growing your business. Try this out and see how money will accumulate.

Shop only what you want – Yes, many people will shop stuff they even don’t use in life. Why waste your money when you can save it and use it in other things. I have a rule, I only shop what I need.

Cut unnecessary expenditure – Believe me you, if you cut your expenditure, it’s a good way to save the remaining. Don’t waste your money in unnecessary stuff which you can even go without.

But very possible if you have a target to achieve. I have gone through this a number of times. Opportunity cost.

Since I have started working I have been saving a small amount every month, right now I have my own house with a very small mortage because I had money to pay a part of it, I have two cars and both are paid immediately, sometimes we can even have enough to travel. I am now trying to explain and educate my children about the importance of saving and how It can change their future.

It is hard to save when you are suffering from a medical condition and you need to maintenance medicines. But these are great saving tips, though. I hope I can do it, too.

I understand. I am going through the same for my kid. I am trying as much as I can to save a penny so that I can raise the required $5100 for my sons heart surgery. Even if some small help may is coming in, still I need to save.

Hard yes but not really impossible. It mostly has to do with self discipline, and this is something you can't get overnight.

True, certain expenditure are like a must. That is way to go. You just have to learn self spending discipline and see if it works.
