Marissa have a super terrible taste in music but as they say taste is subjective and she wanted the whole world to hear the music she listens to. One day she heard the song Santa's Summer by Iselin Michelsen in the middle of Easter. She loved the song so much because Iselin's over autotuned voice and super plastic appearance appeals to her.

This is Marissa


So she decided to that she wanted to make a thread about her favorite bop here in Forumcoin. So everyone in Forumcoin can hear her favorite song.

So what should Marissa do so everyone here will be offended by her favorite song?

Here are the steps on how to embed a Youtube video !

1. Prepare your post- It can be a reply to a thread or a new thread. Before you are going to embed a Youtube video on the forumcoin, You need to make sure prepare your post. Type what you needed to type and click the part of post box where you want to to place the video.
If you notice on this picture the insertion point is at the bottom because she wanted the video to be placed on the bottom. She click the bottom part of the text box so the insertion part will be at the bottom.

2. Go to Youtube and find the video you wanted to embed. You can simply type the title of the video you want to embed and push the enter button of your keyboard.

3. Once you find the video click it -This simple step will be helpful so you can get the link to the video.

4.Once you are on the video, go to the location bar and at the Youtube link, Try to highlight the code on the left side of the equal sign. Just in case you don't know what an equal sign is. This thing = is the equal sign. The code beside the equal sign in the example below is D0G0NidIbIA.



5.Go back to the forumcoin post you prepared and click the Youtube button.
Once you click that button, This code will appear on your chosen insertion point.

6. Go click the empty space between ] and [ and paste the code from the Youtube video you wanted to embed.


7. Click the submit button and now the video is embedded on your post

I do believe the article section needed some subcategories because it will give more articles chances for exposure. I think Marissa will be a regular character on my tutorials.

FC is using a different program. While in WordPress and Blogger, we have to click the share button of the YouTube video and get the embed code.

I found my method easier because I don't need to click an additional button. I just need to highlight a simple code.

Of course if you want to promote your YouTube Channel at the same time, you can take a screenshot of the video to add to your post, with a link back to YouTube. It is a little more work, but may be worth it.

Wordpress have a new update, Simply pasting the Youtubelink will now embed it automatically

For individual videos you can embed them in your post with just the ID number

Thanks I know embedding a video link is really eye catching and you may likely get more views as compared to just replying or writing a plain article.When the need be for me I will sure make use of this tutorial.I really find this service more efficient when you have your own writing space on forumcoin or maybe if someone asks you of a presentation to make unlike as a regular commenter.

Thanks for the tutorial. While I have never tried to add youtube videos, I wanted to add images to my articles and could not figure out how to do it. Thankfully, now I know how I can add images.

@sweerie_banana embedded videos are even better than pictures because these days photographers are copyright crazy meanwhile video owners of Youtube wanted their videos embedded because they earn from views.

I used to think that the only way to get an embedding code is by clicking share where many options come up including the embedding link. But this only happens if it is your video and you have actually logged in to get the code.
