1. "Life is like riding a bicycle. To keep your balance, you must keep moving."
It is much better to make countless terrible mistakes in our lives than abbandon ourselves into the chains of stagnation. That is the worst thing to do in life! I think life is not about comfort, life is about adventure, taking risks, making discoveries, exploring the unknown, pushing your limits...
You'll never know where you can get if you don't push it further.
2. "Once we accept our limits, we go beyond them."
You can't improve yourself if you're not able to see your limitations. Self-improvement is about learning what are your weaknesses and flaws all the time, it's a never ending improvement. Never fool yourself into thinking you already got enough knowledge and
wisdom. There will always be new things to learn, experience and improve, because hey, that's just what life's all about!
3. "If you can't explain it simply, you don't understand it well enough."
Always look for simplicity in your life. Complexity is just a term, the only thing that matters is if you understand something or not, if you can be understood or not. Why should we try to make things harder or more complicated? That's just a waste of yours and other people's time.
4. "We can't solve problems by using the same kind of thinking we used when we created them."
Sometimes we see our personal problems by a very limited perspective. If we manage to see it in different ways, their solution can be very simple. But be warned: by simple I don't mean easy. The simplest solutions are quite often the hardest ones to apply.. That is why we find ourselves complicating our own lives so frequently. Just think about that!
5. "Anyone who has never made a mistake has never tried anything new."
If you feel too afraid about trying something new, that probably means you should try it. I mean, mistakes are just a learning path, and fear is a clear indication that there is something you are missing in your life. So, whenever there is fear, there is also an opportunity for discovery, improvement, and self-fulfillment.
6. "Unthinking respect for authority is the greatest enemy of truth."
How many unfair authorities are you obeying to in your life? You should always pay attention if there's someone guiding your steps that is less capable than yourself. Don't limit your possibilities for fear or "unthinking respect", because sometimes it may be even better for both of you if you just stop obeying someone who doesn't understand you, doesn't recognize your skills, or simply don't want you to grow into a better version of yourself. Free yourself from limitating people and walk your own path.
