When it comes to handling the VA work, most of the freelancers are not much aware of some of the potential business tools. And this means things can get a bit harder to make use of if there is not much experience with the tools. And while doing the VA work I have realized that there are some of the recurring tools which are useful for many. In this article I am listing some of the business tools and apps which are good to learn if you are freelancer VA.

Zoho

This app has everything you need for setting up business. And there seems to be a lot of options for the business owners so that they can automate it. But still it requires some VA for this to manage. You can learn book keeping, mail management and form controls thorugh zoho. It is one good tool worth using. In such case I recommend making use of the Zoho tools. You can get trial and then later upgrade when you get recurring clients.

Zapier & IFTTT

You can find that these days many business owners wants to automate the content and other things. And they require some one who knows how to automate the zapier and IFTTT. You can in such case allow the management of the content and other triggers there. I have noticed that zapier has it's set of the rules to learn. And same can be said about the IFTTT. So take your time and go through some videos on the youtube. That should be more than enough for learning.

FreshDesk & Talk.to

When you are given the job of the support. Here you can make use of the tools such as the freshdesk and talk.to. And here you can see that these tools can help you understand how to answer the customer queries. And you get to know how to get the most out of the backend experience. I have noticed that these two tools are good in many ways. But you have to understand you can't do the most from it.

WordPress

You need to have some sort of understanding for blogging and web publishing. And here you can see that such software can help you get regular leads from customer. This is one complex software which can be easy or tough dependingon customer needs. But you can get things done if you know how to manage the code and the design. So learn whatever you can about wordpress. And it can bring you some business leads.

These are some of my personal must know tools. And if you know even the one tool out of this then you're good to apply for various types of the business offers. And that's something one has to understand there.

I have IFTT. I do need more time to understand how it works although it looks quite easier to use. Maybe I am just overwhelmed with the ton of options I see on the app. I hope this can help me automate a few things in my day to day tasks

I have heard Zoho mail service. I was not aware that it is available as an app. Is WordPress available as a mobile app? I think it can be used to moderate the comments on blogs or websites. I am not aware of any other functionality of WordPress.

I know of zoho and wordpress, but the rest I don't know. I have read that one can use zoho to customize their email. I can't remember if it's a paid service or not.
