Data entry jobs are cheap and they don't earn much. So in such cases spending hours building some database manually copying stuff may not work out for many of us. So you should consider making use of the tools. And these tools should bring you some value for the automation. In this article, I am going to share some of the tools that you can use for the data extraction and using spreadsheet.
Import IO
This is one of the best tools out there for the website scraping. And it can take the feeds of the data and run them regularly. So it can turn out to be a good option for you. It has both free and paid plans. Though free plan is more of a limited for the freelancers who have solo projects. But if you have bigger and longer projects then surely it can add up in many ways. You can see that import io is lot better resource if you want quick feed of the data.
Dexi
This is more professional tool. When you have like 1000 enetries or more to scrape then this can be really good in many ways. This is more suitable for higher end projects. I tried to make use of this tool for VA work. But the cost is very high and it increased the burden on budget. So we discarded this after trial. But the software is good enough for data extraction. And it can be good enough for this type of services.
Wehose
This is another data extraction tool. For this to work for daily data entry requirement I suggest you to upgrade to the paid plan. And I am sure this can give you enough data. Though paid plans seems to be steep for the data entry work. But they can earn you good enough on that point. But for casual data entry professionals I don't think it is goinng to add some value. I don't think it's that good if you ask me there. For 1000 entries it is free to use though.
ParseHub
A relatively low priced but good enoug to use tool. It has some of the limitations unlike other paid tools. But it can get the work done for some really good data. You can run specific number of the queries with it. As the tool has the free access to some limit. You may want to make use of that. You can get more done with the tool as well. I suggest making use of the parsehub on that point. I have yet to make use of the higher functionality there as well.
These are four tools that I have used so far and it seems to be working for me. I have not seen much other tools as effective as these 4. But thee are always some new tools out there. So you can explore and find it out yourself.
