4 Passive Income Online Myths

Postby skysnap » 22 Sep 2017, 08:56

There are plenty of online making money myths out there. And if one can focus on the ads and such lies, then we are setting our own self for the disaster. And that's where we have to be realistic about our life. And we have to start questioning ourselves that why people are lying about the online income. In this article, I want to put point across some of the online myths out there.

Write Book Once Earn Forever.

Many people have sold the kindle get rich quick dream. And they said write one book and promote it and become rich. And they are like selling this book for 99 cents. Just imagine if they are selling this formula which makes them money why it is costed at 99cents. That's where you have to understand the reasoning behind the propaganda of MMO. You have to understand that none of us can make money by being unreal with our own self.

Laptop and Beach Lifestyle

People love nomad lifestyle. And they think pulling it off is in everyone's hands. And that's where they need to branch out from. They have to focus on the reality. If you have dependent family, how are you going to live the nomad lifestyle. How are you going to live the beach lifestyle with kids at home? So that's something you have to take control of and focus on being real with yourself.

Get Rich Quick

Have you seen all those forex, PTC and HYIP ads? What have you seen in it? They promise you to the rich life fast. And that's a biggest myth you may need to wake up from. Money can't be made overnight with any program. And being rich takes years of hardwork. Otherwise you have to win the lottery. That's how it works and you have to focus on getting rich slowly and focus on your actions.

Little Efforts

Many online earning sites tell you that it requires very less efforts to make money online. And that's a biggest myth going on out there. For example PTC requires 2 months to reach 10$. Just imagine you can earn 10$ from offline jobs fairly quickly. You can take 1 year to reach 100$ payout on kindle ebooks. So you can imagine how slow things can be. Never believe that online income is quicker and easier. In fact it is one of the slower income.

These four are primary myths in the make money online industry. As you can see there are people always falling for something. And they don't know how unrealistic it is to follow such stuff. That's where I think we all need to change.

Maybe what they claim could true at some point in time and I have no problem with that. The thing is the struggles were not mentioned in their little pitch. How long did it take to finish a good book, how did you go about marketing it and how did you handle rejection and so on.

The digital nomad lifestyle is what I often see online. Some are serious about it and if you follow their journey you could learn something from it. However, there will always be these people who will take advantage of something that is in hype and mess it all up just to make a quick buck.

I agree with you. When you mention anything online, some people think it's one of the most easiest way to earn free money. I once thought the same thing until I started doing some stuffs online to earn money only to discover the truth about it.

Well said. I'd rather hear about what actual work is needed, so I know if the "opportunity" is for me or not. Don't try to trick me into something. Lay it out. If it's as good as claimed, people will sign up as fast as they can.

@skysnap, I don't agree with your point 'Little Efforts'. Many PTC sites provide good money provided if you spend time on the site regularly. It is also important to know the tips and tricks for each PTC site. If it is not worth, we can stop spending time on that particular site and look for some other website. After all, doing nothing is better than earning few dollars. These kinds of websites will be useful for students and stay at home moms to spend their time in a useful manner.

I guess that depends on what you consider "good money." I agree with Sky that a lot of sites aren't worth your time. The effort may not require anything difficult, but that's also why the pay is so low. There are other sites that are simple to use too but that pay better for your time.
