4 Tips To Help Your Self How To Start Working Smart

Postby grecy0905 » 01 Aug 2017, 14:56

Everyone is working hard. They are doing their best to earn. They are doing their best to learn lots of things because they know knowledge with specific stuff will able to earn them more. However, working hard puts us to pressure. Instead of earning more, we become tired. Instead of being happy, we became sad. We even feel that we don’t want to work anymore.

Working hard makes us all tired and it creates a firewall to achieving dreams sometimes because it leads us to give up not striving up. It is much better if we are happy while working if the work will not be that hard to us. How can we start to be a person who works smart, not hard? Please find below tips to start a new you in working smart.

Seriously Take a Break Between Work
Coffee break is awesome. You need it even if you are drinking coffee. Coffee will boost your energy and it keeps you awake. How about your eyes? You need to look on the green color or look far away to rest it for a while. If you are working in the office and you only have an hour of break, it is still needed if you will take at least 5 minutes of a break while working. Our brain could only focus for 90 minutes. After 90 minutes, we get tired already. Once we feel tired, that is the time our brain resets everything that we put as a memory. If we are working continuously, then the brain will fail to do that. It leads to memory loss instead of memory gain. If you want to work smart, then you need to nourish your memory and take a break, seriously.

Take a Nap
After eating lunch, if you can have a 15-minute nap, it could be wonderful! A nap helps to improve your cognitive memory and creative thinking. Nap is very useful if you have lots of things to remember in a day. When you have new data as a memory, it is first put in our hippocampus. While it is there, it is easily forgotten. When we nap, that is the only time our memory will be put on the Neocortex. It is where the memory to be permanently stored. If you need lots of data to store in a day and every day of your life, you need to take a nap.

Be with Nature, If You Can
Being with nature relaxes your mind. You will hear the chirping of bird, you are relaxing and breathing a fresh air, you are calm and unwind. It is a perfect rest for your brain. You need to avoid being busy sometimes and have a walk in the park. Even a regular person could attest that being with nature relaxes your mind and help you with attention span. Busy streets will not help your attention span because it stresses you more as you need to focus on lots of things. You will learn more if you are calm and tranquil.

Laugh Regularly
When you laugh, it releases some toxins in your body and it is very helpful with your cells. If you want to work smart, let your brain take a rest after work. Find something that will make you laugh like funny pictures, videos or watching funny movies. If you regularly watch funny movies at night, then you are helping your body to get rid of the toxins and make your cell healthy. It will be the start of a calming presence in your brain and you will start a new person every morning. This is great to start a day at work.

Those tips above, once make it a habit, will make a good start to work smart.

Thanks for the reminder :) Hard work should never take the place of physical and emotional wellbeing. No amount of money can ever take the place of great health. You can only enjoy your work and money if all is fine healthwise.

Thanks for the tips, dear!
Work smart rather than work hard. I hope I can earn enough with just few hours work rather than more than 10 hours work per day. :P
A good health can help us to work more efficiently, agreed with @ladyninja.

I miss being with nature. A simple 30 minute to an hour walk outside is so therapeutic for me. I can have that me time and help refresh my mind from all the boring tasks I do each day and the stress that come up with. Chirping birds, buzzing bees and the sigh of a butterfly ( that was a joke)
