Tips to loose weight

Health is simply the state of being free from illness or injury. Also, it is the level of functional and metabolic efficiency of a living organism. As defined by World Health Organization (WHO), it is a "State of complete physical, mental, and social well being, and not merely the absence of disease or infirmity." A person's health is the condition of their body and the extent to which it is free from. So, all of us want to be healthy mentally and physically. Health is the degree to measure how much we have moment in our life. Nowadays, almost all of the people are eager to maintain their health everytime. So, they maintain balanced diet, exercise and also, they become free from stress, pain and depression.

Being overweight is one of the state of unhealthy body. So, our body weight should be maintained to become healthy. There are several ways to loose weight. I will write those ways below. So, please read them thoroughly.

1. Schedule workouts.
Write down your workout plan so that this will help hold you accountable. Also, it will definitely compel you to stick to that workout schedule each day until you reach to your goal. Also, you can join any of your friends who also want to loose weight. So, you will get motivated to exercise regularly.

2. Don't be discouraged to
face your difficulties
Remember,"Someday everything will make perfect is sense. So for now, laugh at the confusion, smile through the tears, and keep reminding yourself that everything happens for a reason." Also, you have to fight some of the bad days of your life. If you were able to believe in santa claus for like 8 years, you can believe in yourself for like 5 minutes. If it's still in your mind, it is worth taking the risk. Remember, not to look back until you reach to your goal. Failure is only the opportunity to begin again only this time more wisely.

3. Consider using a personal
trainer/coach
If you're confused as to how to begin a workout routine, have an injury or simply want to learn how to maximize your gym time, then, hire a personal trainer. He/she can help you to reach your goal easily. Also, you need to choose a certified personal trainer to uplift your daily lifestyle.

4. Drink plenty of water
It's important to drink enough water throughout the day to stay hydrated. Scarcity of water in the body makes us feel hungry. Drinking water helps maintain the balance of body fluids. Also, it can help in controlling calories in our body. "What works with weight loss is if you choose water or a non-caloric beverage over a caloric beverage and/or eat a diet higher in water-rich foods that are healthier, more filling, and help you trim calorie intake," says Penn State researcher Barbara Rolls, Phd author of The Volumetrics Weight Control Plan. Also, water helps energize muscles. It helps in making our skin to look good. When there is plenty of water in the body, our skin functions as a protective barrier to prevent excess fluid loss.

I think the first thing you need to do before you start any weight loss diet is to seek the advice of a health professional. Firstly, they can advice on the best route to take based on your specific body type and secondly they will advise on how to keep the weight off permanently. Many people lose weight after a weigh loss program only to gain the weight back after a few months.

Really the only tip you need is to just eat healthier... You just need to make smart choices and not be lazy all of the time. This is the one thing that I am guilty of but I'm learning discipline and currently pacing at work to get more steps on my Fitbit... It is turning into a game for me.

Watch the kind of food you eat, it is advisable you eat food of less fat content, take more fruits to aid digestion, make your Tommy is lighter while going to bed.

Great article overall.
About the following part : "3. Consider using a personal trainer/coach" - I do not completely agree. While having a personal coach can be helpful, the best one you can have is yourself.

I remind myself not to treat food as my comfort in times of stress. Otherwise I will surely gain an extra inch on my waist. It takes effort and discipline for me because I really find comfort in food. Need I say that I love nibbling on snacks while working? :mrgreen:

Ever since I moved from the UK to Botswana almost 4 years ago, I steadily started gaining weight to the point where I hated seeing pictures of myself LOL I tried portion size control, which had always worked for me but for whatever reason the weight just didn't shift. I guess as you get older, it becomes more and more difficult to lose weight.

Then towards the end of last year, I discovered this high fat low carb type diet and my, my weight just fell! I don't eat grains, heavy starch or sugar. I also drink a lot of water. What I do wish I could do is fit in is some exercise but for now can't because I have too much on my plate.

Well done on doing that, it's not easy. What type of foods do you eat for breakfast on that diet?

Did you find it difficult to cut out sugar from your diet?

This is not necessarily true.

Recent studies have shown that a higher fat, low sugar/carbohydrate diet is much more effective in helping people lose weight. It's not dietary fat that's the enemy, it's sugar.

yes,you're on point,drinking plenty water helps.I take a lot of water before eating and it filled me up.keeping me away from eating too much calories.

I usually do brisk walking and also drink tea to detoxify all the toxins in my body. I get sick easily because of my heart ailment but I am doing my best to keep myself healthy. Luckily , I can get extra money by doing freelance writing.

True health is most inportan thing,if we are not health we will die really fast and nothing will not save us so I reccomend healthy food and enought training.

Drinking plenty of water is a good tip to keep your weight in check. It is recommended by many dietitians to drink a glass of water before every meal. Lukewarm water is ideal for losing weight. Whatever diet we follow, workout is very important to lose weight.
