Low Cost Marketing Ideas for Online Freelancer

Postby skysnap » 22 Jul 2017, 07:35

Most of the marketing options online are paid. And it's not easy to setup the proper marketing campaign without having to spend the money. So when it comes to low cost promotion of the product or the service. You can see that you need some efforts to put onto in order to promote your business. In this article, I wish to put a light on how to promote the product or the business that is available for low cost.

Video Tutorials

You can promote your freelancing service through the video tutorials. You can reach more users by promoting your video content. Though it's hard to close the service or the deal. But if you know what you're doing and know how to set things up. The video can be a good service to have. In fact many people choose to have this sort of sevrice for better conversion of their freelancing offer.

Infographics

Infographics doesn't have to be stuck with your website. You can let it go viral. You can take this to as many people as you can. You can make promotion for the brand through such content. Often that type of content does not work on some sites. So in such case the brand has to go outside that. I have seen that infographics is something lot easier to setup. If you can do it properly then it's easier this way.

Contests

Contests on blogs and forums are known for making some good sales. You can see that those have potential to make money for you. And that's something you have to understand while promoting. Know who your readers are and then based on that contest needs to be adjusted. And contests are something I'd say it gets you traffic and also you'd be able to get better brand their as well.

Online Forums

These days forums are back. People are spending time on forums again. And this can be one good way to get more people to visit your website. You can also use the facebook groups. And that's something you have to consider for promoting the product or service. You can get some random clicks. But some of the time you can make even get the links directly through affiliate links so that you can track.

These are some of the unusual but proven options for promoting the freelance offer. You can see that if you apply one of these options for marketing, you'd be able to get some good conversion. But that's not always easy for anyone and we just have to learn to set things up properly here from the start to market.

I think advertising on forums will be my preffered option from the list. You can advertise for free or at a minimal fee at most forums.

Apart from online forums, it is a good idea to post advertisements in local classifieds websites like Sulekha,Craigslist etc. Creating profiles in social networking sites like Facebook, Twitter & LinkedIn and sharing it is also the cheapest way of marketing.
