The habit of reading has a great influence on our personality. Yes. Surprised? Some of the most successful people in this world have the habit of reading on an average of five to six hours. When Bill Gates was asked what one super power he would like to have is that he could able to read a lot faster. And so was Warren Buffet, Oprah Winfrey and so on. Reading is one of the best exercises for our mind. Studies show that people having the habit of reading are less prone to diseases such as Alzheimer, Dyslexia, and other brain related diseases. So here are some of the ways to improve your personality through reading.
1. Stronger memory:
Reading has the ability to reshape your mind and improve your memory. As you read a book you will have to remember the new events, people, places, scenes, names etc. So, by this way, your memory will be expanded and you will be able to remember a lot of things with ease.
2. Understandable and acceptable:
When we read different stories we will be able to relate those situations to our real life. So, it helps us to understand people better and accept them for who they are.
3. Express well:
Well, when you read a lot, you will have clearer thoughts which will be helpful for you to speak clearly and express the exact emotions and feelings to the people.
4. Getting smarter day by day:
Reading infuses a lot of information into your mind. You will never know when that information will become handy. Also, you will be able to talk effectively.

By the habit of reading daily, you will get to learn new beautiful words which will help to articulate your thoughts while you speak. Today, in this competitive world most of the companies are expecting the candidates to be a good speaker.

Well, you may be thinking what time management is doing here. Well, when reading a book will forget about the other time killing activities like social media, Youtube (except for the important videos), chatting, T.V etc. We will slowly start to feel more responsible and be more productive.

You will be connecting to people better and this is one of the best ways for introverts. I being an introvert myself have changed a lot of now because of reading different books.

Yes. Reading nurtures relationships as you will be relating situations to the book which will help you to take good decisions in favor of your relationship. Books are great friends.
