Great budget PC build

Postby Sainfai » 20 Jan 2017, 18:02

I always liked computer gaming and video games in general. I thought I'd make this guide to maybe help some people who wanted to build a PC but they didn't know what parts to choose.

I would say a good PC would be equal to the price of a console, so let's see how we can build a PC around $400-500 and have it perform better than a console !

First of all, I need to say that this only includes the computer itself, no keyboards or mouses or monitors or things like that, considering you might already have them since you're either reading this on a phone or on a computer !

To get a computer running you'll need:
A processor, a video card, some RAM, an HDD, power supply, a motherboard and finally - a case that you're going to put this stuff into.
Here is a PC build I've compiled that costs around $400-500 if you buy all parts new. I won't link them here since you can find them pretty fast on amazon or other sites depending on your country.

GeForce GTX 1050/RX 460
Intel i3 6100
MSI H110M Skylake
Ballistix Sport 8GB DDR4
EVGA 430w
WD Blue 1tb

You can look this PC up online and on youtube and you'll find that its performance is better than that of a console. Thanks so much for reading this tutorial and hope this helped you in any way.

Good suggestion for a budget build. One could also go for an AMD FX-8350 on a budget. It's very cheap and performs decently when it is paired with a powerful graphics card.

Indeed, there are a lot of CPU choices, both from AMD and Intel, but this is the one I prefer and personally use so I thought I should recommend it because I have experience with it.

Always be careful about the Power Supply, but this build seems decent enough. I would also recommend a 256GB SSD is the budget allows, it makes a whole world of difference.
