New Year is fast approaching and for sure most of us are preparing our New Year’s Resolution. Resolution means a decision that you take in life and it depends on what you want to change or not to change about yourself. Let me share you some tips to help you decide what are the things you should be changing to make a better version of yourself for the next year.
List Down Your Mistakes
You need to spend a day off. This day off could be a day or two for you to lists all the mistakes you had done for the whole year. You should organize them to minimal to major mistakes you had done. If you want, you can add another column for the things you did to solve that issue. If you did not, then what needs to be done to solve it.
List Down your Response and Reaction to Problems
Sometimes our response and reaction trigger an issue in solving the problems. If a person would love to do a drama before jumping into solving a problem, it not only delays the solution part but it only adds to stress everyone is feeling, especially if you are working in a team. Does your response or reaction to the problems that had happened for this year affects anyone? Is it good or bad? How do you want to change it to help you this time? Is your decision making helps to improve yourself this year? You can have all the question answered as your guide.
List Down some Illnesses that you experienced
Valuing yourself will start by taking care of yourself. If you had a lot of illnesses this year it means you already deprive yourself of rest or you already neglecting it. You cannot make your dreams come true of you are in the hospital and ill. List down all the illnesses you experience this year and find time to analyze what causes it.
List down all you plan to do but you failed to do
For sure you still remember what you want to do but you failed to do it because you had your priorities. Priorities changes all the time but your plans are still there until you are not executing anything. What are your plans? Does it necessary to happen this year or you could always move on from it? Does this plan makes you a better version of yourself if you do it? Analyze your plans and lists that all that you need to accomplished this year.
List down all the New things you want to do, for a Change
Doing new things makes life exciting. It could be making new friends, having a new career, new love, new house, new gadgets, new group or community, anything new is exciting. What are the new things you want to experience? Make sure it could improve you and it is aligned to your priorities as well.
List down all the things you did to earn money
This last tips could be optional. Most of the resolution focuses on how we react to things and in psychological aspect, however, money aspect should be listed too because it is our way to live and to survive. List down all the things you did to earn money. Do you want to earn more, list down all your plans? Do you think you need to change jobs because you are earning less, plan?
Remember, New Year’s Resolution lists will just turn into waste if you are not serious enough it making every detail to happen in real life. Change does not only happen during New Year, it should happen every minute of every day.
