Funding for Cashless Entrepreneur

Postby skysnap » 11 Dec 2016, 08:32

When it comes to starting business, it was kind of hard to get the funding. But these days there are some of the ways that are coming out for getting funding for your business. You should consider some of these ways to get funding to your business.

Kiva

If your financial condition falls close to poverty, then Kiva is the place to go. It gives you loan without any specific interest. Only thing to do here is that you have to give it back after some time. You can't pay it back if you are not serious with the business. Here you have to consider payment to your bank account. Most of the poor countries get funding in this program. Though Kiva requires some background check. So you have to be ready for that.

Zidisha

Think of it like Kiva. But the return rate are lot lower. The lending system does not have an interest. So you need to find that if you invest there are no interest. Which makes it easy for you to donate by heart. The minimum amount here is 50$. And once you start getting the funding, you can then have specific time period under which you can return the funds. This can be a good option for those who want to establish the initial business funds.

Milaap

This website is India based. And it takes care of the projects nearby India. And it can generate some good amount of money. You can find that some good projects on the website to fund. There are also options for you to start your own project. The system however takes some precaution to filter the type of projects. Think of this project as micro loan system. Though its not like kickstarter but it can get some good funds for you. It just requires time to get the funds raised.

Lend for Peace

This website is for the people in middle east and east Asia to raise funds. I have found that this website has some of the good options for the lenders. It may not be easy to raise the funds for middle east based business. Because lot of those areas are harder to get funds. Also the people there are under stress. So it requires some time to raise funds. If you are in this area then you should think of giving this one a try. This site can also fund some projects outside middle east but in poverty stricken country.

Babyloan

This site offers a good method to loan the people who are troubling with funds. It takes 10 pound and onwards. If you fit their criteria then you can take such loans. Also giving the loan amount back is not that hard. You can easily work on this type of model for your small business. For example collecting such small funds to buy sewing machine can be one good option. This way you can build your small business.

These are some of the options for the people who are struggling with the cash. And if they want to make use of the small loans for their growth then they can consider some of these websites. They can get funds provided they are in capacity to repay.

The search for online crowdsourcing alternatives made me land on Kiva, the online lending platform where people can borrow from around the world and repay lter. Kiva's way of doing work seems different from most crowdfunding platforms since they borrow and you have to pay back.

You have never seen anyone because no one has ever tried. Be the eye opener. If you can follow the guidelines, then you can benefit from Kiva for example. Keep in mind that you borrow and pay back in time.

I took up a loan from my bank, and I'm still having a challenge paying it back. Luckily the interest rates are quite low.
I wouldn't advice anyone to take a loan, unless you have a job or a system of paying it back.

An entrepreneur is not supposed to be cashless. And loans are not sustainable sources of funding for any entrepreneur.
