And the amount of money that you can make through gumroad varies. So if you are into publishing the content through online sites then gumroad is worth checking out. I'd definitely say that it is worth trying if you wish to make money selling pdf books.

Another site like gumroad. However here you have to pay some monthly fee for hosting your ebooks. So 5$ minimum seems to be the fee for hosting the content. You can get paid for the book directly. And there is no third party content issue. You can host the content in the zip file. You should definitely check this out. It has made many authors some money but you need to be very good with traffic to sale here. As ejunkies landing pages are not good for conversion for most of the books. So you may have to use your own landing pages on blog.
These are some of the ways with which you can sell the book. And then based on number of sales you can make some good amount of money. I'd definitely say these are some of the nice ways to make money.
