Really?! why do you say that portuguese language are in demand? Maybe because I'm portuguese And I'm graduated in portuguese i honestly don't see a lot of demand for it. But I have to be honest... I have never worked with translation sites.

You have good ideas here, in Portugal there is a proverb that says: "Knowing doesn't take place"

In today's harsh job market, it's prudent to learn something else to do on the side because relying on just one job doesn't always cut it these days. I'm always doing something or other to supplement my wage, and I know a lot of other people who are pushing various projects to supplement their wage. It's tough!

Certainly to stay afloat one must have multiple streams of income, you can only live above board especially in a bad economy when you don't depend on only one source. Those sources there are quite valid.

Coding and Foreign Languages are ones I prefer among the list. French won't be a bad idea after all, we do more English than French in my country.

Transcription, article writing, virtual assistance are some ways to start to make some side income. It very tough but you have to know what you are good at and excel in it. Patient and consistency would go a long way also.

I agree with you but one thing you need to know is that, most decent ways of earning are saturated. There is always a kind of competition.
