It’s the agony of every blogger,
Luckily, these tried and tested facebook marketing strategies will lift you from the herd.
And place you in a position to milk traffic out this giant cow-facebook-.
Let’s dive in
1. Join groups that relate to your niche’
Ever been with a group of people and felt completely lost and out of place?
Or with a person and you couldn’t get yourself to develop a conversation?
Well, that’s how sharing content in the wrong niche’ facebook group feels.
When joining a group, you are looking for a place where your ideas can receive accommodation; a place where people can engage and appreciate what you are offering and preferably reward you by following you into the blog
So as a thumb rule, search through facebook to find groups that are related to your blog topic.
For instance, my make money with forums sub domain blog receives most its traffic from make money online facebook groups.
2. Relate with people first
You have great content in your blog, and you want people to visit.
The truth about people whether in person or behind a computer screen is that, they only follow you when they feel they can trust you.
Now if you want these people to leave the comfort of a facebook community and flock to your blog, you have to convince them you care.
According to the ancient chronicles of human relations, befriending people is the basic way to win their trust.
On the forums you wish to share, start by giving helpful solutions to the common issues being expressed by the members.
This way, the people will trust you and will not hesitate to mass follow you.
3. Answer questions directly
I have managed to pull in big traffic with this tactic; my blog mentor, Woodworth of Edwardwoodward.com, taught me this simple strategy to get massive traffic.
This how you’ll do it,
• Go the facebook group, find a common question
• Do a thorough research on it
• Write blog post and post it on your blog
• Go back to the forum and open the thread where the question was asked
• Answer the question in brief; give the skeleton of what you cover on your post
• And a call of action telling people to ‘click here to learn more’
• Add the link to the blog post
Additionally,
• Start a new thread and announce that you have solved a problem that has been nagging people for long and add blog post link.
Then go other facebook groups and do the same,
Within 72 hours, your post receives incredible views.
Don’t just stand there, go and try it.
4. Don’t spam
If are following everything I have taught in steps 1 to 2 then you will never be guilty of spamming. However, since I have mentioned it,
Spamming is the act of carelessly sharing links with the sole intention of getting people to follow your link.
Which is selfish, I might add,
A true blogger’s ethic restricts him to do everything to help his readers become better people. Don’t you agree?
In response to a question poised directly to me by one of our dear members,
Here are the simple steps to sharing a blog post from your timeline to a group;
I. Click share on the bottom of the post on facebook timeline
II. A pop up box appears presenting some options
• Share on your friend’s timeline
• Share on group
• Share on your page
ii. Select share on a group
iii. A text box will appear
iv. Type the name of the group on the text box
v. The full name of the group appear, select it
vi. Again click share at the bottom of the post
And eureka, your post is shared on the group.
