It's admirable that you want to make changes for your health. For myself, I already don't drink soft drinks very often, and don't drink coffee (I prefer tea). I don't drink much alcohol or eat much refined sugar either, so I think I'm just going to keep doing what I'm doing in moderation. I wish you luck though.

That's interesting. It's a lot more alcohol than is recommended in Australia. Here the health department recommends no more than 10 standard drinks per week (which works out as no more than 6 medium glasses of wine per week).

It doesn't have to. There are recipes with less sugar, or which use things like fruit for sweetness. Maybe try searching online for low sugar recipes?
