Anyone from Hubpages or Wikinut

Postby peachpurple » 29 Sep 2015, 07:17

I write for Hubpages and Wikinut. So, I was wondering whether any of the writers at Forumcoins had joined these 2 sites yet

Is Forumcoin earning better than Hubpages and Wikinut?

I am a member on both sites.Hubpages seems to be favoring particular articles or at least those with outstanding grammar. They can unpublish your hub if it starts to do well overnight with petty excuses while wikinuts, you will have to sweat to make money on that site.

I am on hubpages. I was also on wikinut but I deleted my account because I was not satisfied with the pay rate. Forum coin guarantee at least $10 in a month and the payment threshold is just $5. However, Hubpges has high payment threshold of $50. You could earn more on HubPages, but it is really difficult.

I am on hubpages and I have never tried wikinut. On Hbpages I have my work transferred from Squidoo, a site that went down. They made a deal with Hubpages and we got a chance to transfer all of our work there. I have around 15$ there and I am still waiting to reach treshold of 50$.

I was very, very tempted to join both WikiNut and HubPages, but I was seriously discouraged by friends who told me it takes forever for the money to build up. It also sounds to me as if you really have to invest a lot of time and energy in HubPages, and everything needs approving as they set very high standards. In the end, I decided neither would be worth my time.

Thanks for your share, I don't intend to give up yet, been to both sites for 5 years already. I know the earning are slow, I don't mind

I am on hubpages but I have yet to earn from the site. with the slow earnings, i think it will take me months to reach the minimum threshold of 50$

I am quitting WikiNut. I have been waiting almost a week for approval of my article. That is so ridiculous. I can see that if they were paying more, so no more WikiNut for me!

I think I registered with wikinut when I was trying to find some writing platforms to get busy with. But never posted anything yet.

I'm on Hubpages. I don't have whole lot of articles there, so my earnings are low. It is a good site for longer articles that are well-researched and well-written.

I was encouraged to sign up for WikiNut but the site did not impress me. Regards HUBPages, I just recently celebrated my 5-year anniversary. I am not very active at the site and I am satisfied that HUBs generate passive income.

I'm not on any of those websites and by the look of it, I won't be joining any soon! I think starting a blog is better.

I am a member of Hubpages and I have several articles on the site. I like Hubpages because of the possibility of earning passively. But I like Bitlanders even more because I can earn some decent amount from the site without much effort. I was also a member of Wikinut but I never been so serious on the site.

This is just my experience. Starting out at a writing site or a blogging community is better for the experience. The editors will either accept your work or reject it. If you are a newbie, their criticisms are usually very valuable. I started out at a writing site and my article got returned by the editors for improvement. Returned is better than Rejected. Their tips and helpful hints pointed me in the right direction. Also, I could earn from my articles. When you start a blog (unless you are one of the "blessed") it might take years for you to get traffic and earn income. Many get discouraged. That's why there is a "blog graveyard" out there. You find lots of blogs that have been abandoned.
