Nowadays quite a few forums offer services for their forum currency, some are cheaper than others too, like here on FC, I'd say its the best among all I've seen. So it would be nice if we could exchange our other forum currencies to FC, maybe at a higher price (only because the services here are cheaper), so it would be nice to have an official exchange system here. e.g 100 Forum Coin for 200 FP Cash.

I think it is a good idea and I have seen it on other forums. The conversion rate is the hardest part about it and usually goes by how many points you get per post, how much services cost etc. I am sure quite a few people would be willing to do this if it benefits their forum such as extra exposure etc.

It could work between FP and FC and BAF$ and FC but I fear it could cause a lot of users here to have a lot of money which may not be great.

Thanks for the suggestion shamzblueworld. Members are welcome to offer exchanges with other forum currencies in our Member Classifieds & Exchanges section. For that reason I'm not sure if it is necessary to offer an official exchange. However, I'm happy to consider the idea and would welcome further feedback on it from other members.

Well I'd do this but I dont have many forums, I just visit FP and FC mostly, but I'd love to see this.

I would like to see this myself. It would be good as Forum Hours services rates are massive.

Well I did start one of these. It was unfortunate that it could not continue after what happened on ForumHour. It was quite popular though. It just takes one member to have a lot of each forums currency and they can do it themselves. You could also take loans from members of the communities.
