How has ForumCoin helped you?

Postby Fergal » 27 Feb 2025, 06:03

I'd like the ForumCoin site to be as helpful as possible to our members and visitors. If we can learn how ForumCoin has helped you personally, we can do more of that and be more helpful to you and others. So, please reply and tell us a little about, how ForumCoin has helped you?

Thanks.

One of the main reason i joined forumcoin the first time was when i had issue with my account on bizdustry, and i needed to contact the admin. I was told i could reach him here on forumcoin, and i did just that. Forumcoin has helped me with information, i get the latest updates about other sites. Whenever there is an issue on a paid to post site i am working on, the first place i run to is forumcoin cause there is always an information about it.

As I have mentioned several times, I am now 86 years old and have noticed that the things I read online about Dementia and Alzheimer's move higher into my daily attention span. I also read that keeping your mind engaged and active is the best defense against them taking over your mental capacity completely until they put you away to wait for your eventual demise in some home.

I have a close friend at Church that has a good family that is the main reason he is still living at home. My wife and his wife brought us together and now a simple thing like shaking his hand every week and saying a few words has brought great joy to all of us.

To a somewhat lesser degree, I get that same feeling on a regular basis right here on Forum Coin and it helps diminish the effect of spending most days at home alone with nothing to keep me company but an occasional meeting with a neighbor when I go across the street for the mail or the time I spend online with my remote friends. I can't put an accurate value on either of those, but I do know it is great.

I don't think it's a help per se but rather what I get from ForcumCoin. A few years ago, I was member of a few forums, including ForumCoin. ForumCoin stood out for me because of the warm admin and community. Here, I finally felt truly at home whereas the other forums always had really rather nasty undertones. I had a few horrible experiences as well.

I also felt some of them were very 'clickey' which is something I don't like at all. I like being a member of an online community, and after leaving some while others tanked, the only one I have always wanted to keep coming back to was ForumCoin. As a matter of fact, I've even lost the appetite for paid forum posting and have decided I won't be looking for any more to join. So yeah, FC has given me a sense of belonging <3
