by Afghanistan is getting worse than ever. Ever since President Biden pulled out the American troops, the rights of women have essentially been given away to the Taliban. Being a woman in Afghanistan is so bad right now.
First, you cannot receive treatment from a male doctor. But how can you receive treatment from a male doctor if women are banned from studying in college? They can only get services from a female doctor, but now they have banned women from working. So, in order to receive healthcare, they are importing female doctors from Iran to practice for them.
To make matters worse for Afghan women, they are now banned from going to school at all levels of education. Women resorted to online schooling, but now they are banned from owning a smartphone. Aside from being banned from owning a smartphone, they are banned from going outside, talking on the streets, and walking on the streets. Basically, their only choice right now is to stay inside.
Moreover, aside from having no chance to pursue any profession, they are banned from posting on social media as well. Essentially, the Taliban wants women to become child brides and housewives. That’s all they can do. They crush whatever hope these women have. It’s really disgusting that the Taliban thinks this barbaric system is protecting women.
Right now, women in Iran are fighting for their rights against the regime, while women in Saudi Arabia now have the freedom to walk around the streets without hijabs. Afghanistan is now the worst place to be a woman.
