ForumCoin used to have an average of 350 or more topics listed under the "New Posts" link. There was enough variety to keep members engaged every time they logged in.

As of this moment: 169 total topics currently listed under the "New Posts" link

34 topics provided by mod

4 new topics 15 May
5 new topics 14 May

We all need a steady supply of 20 or more new topics added every day to write about, including you.

41 members have logged in during the latest 48 hours.
Only 27 of them found something they wanted to contribute to. After contacting several to ask why, some have said they stopped posting and/or left ForumCoin due to the lack of new topics.

Every member should make a point of introducing
at least one new topic every time you log in.
Make it part of your site participation.

Watch the news in your areas of interest and find something to talk about.
As always, please ensure that every new topic adheres to site rules and guidelines.

New post should show new threads instead of recently replied threads.It should be displayed in front page right away instead of the need of clicking a button.

Just need to bring this back to your attention.

There used to be something around 350 topics listed under the "New Posts" link to choose from under the default 7 day display.

There are currently 168 topics listed in the "New Posts" link under the default 7 day display. As of this moment, it is only 489 topics if you select the 30 day display but most don't bother to make that change to even look.

5 of them have been posted today, at least so far, including some from Fergal and Netherrealmer.
6 of them were posted yesterday, including some from Fergal and Netherrealmer.
11 of them were added the day before that, including some from Fergal and Netherrealmer.
34 of them have been posted by your moderator.
10 of them have been posted by Fergal.

Thought I should also acknowledge and thank members who have contributed new topics.

Topics only remain listed under the new post link for the default 7 days unless you select a longer period for display. They either recycle with new activity or are dropped off into the site archives with no new activity. They only come back if someone searches site content for topics of interest.

We really need something close to 20 new topics introduced every single day to keep content fresh and members engaged.

Out of 6226 currently registered members, only 2294 ever contributed even 2 or more posts.
954 out of that lot only contributed 2 to 10 posts during their time on site.
Only 145 members have contributed 1000 or more posts and
Only 515 even contributed 100 or more posts.
Only 70 have posted any content in the last 30 days and
Only 59 more have posted anything since January 1, 2022.

In a recent survey of older inactive members, even though response was rare, one of the mentioned reasons they have moved on is the lack of new content and a boredom of the same members posting similar content on the same old topics.

Every member should consider it a part of your site participation to post at least one new topic every time you log in. We all need new topics, including you.

I have been active here lately and I have created a topic called todays thought. I see more users replying to it daily. Hopefully we keep getting more topics

Thanks for your effort. That is one topic posted out of the six you have added that are currently included in the new posts list. We need every member to make similar efforts to expand the opportunities for everyone to add new content.

To really make a difference, each member should be posting at least one new topic every day.
