Asking For Favour Openly Isn't this Prohibited?

Postby Vehlijanta » 24 Jul 2021, 15:11

I'll make this shorter so everyone will read and reply.

There is a forum on which you also earn when you receive comment on your posted thread and it's a good reward for the hard work of the person who posted good and useful thread but some users like to post threads and don't believe they are as good so they keep asking other users to comment on their thread from time to time which I think is wrong and should be considered as begging equal to cheating the system and in the context of forum coin it means you are asking the users to comment on your posted article so you can earn some extra.

Don't you think it's prohibited and is like gaming the system?

I don't mind anyone asking me for a favor now and then. as long as they are willing to reciprocate.

Since age is no longer creeping up on me, but rushing in like an NFL ball carrier on 4th down from the 1 yard line. it's very simple.

I use to pay people to post on my articles with ForumCoin AdsLotto - Post Your Ad and Win a Million as way of sharing my blessings but I stopped doing it even though there are no rules against it. Fergal could have told me to stop if there are rules against it. I just stopped doing it even before the changes that views and replies have no bearing anymore.

Fergal hasn't banned it but I stopped doing it because its not worth the investment because people will just expect to be paid forever instead of voluntarily.

ForumCoin AdsLotto allows referral links so I experimented if they allow advertisement for articles. When I got allowed, I did for some time but I stopped doing it since I find a different way to share my blessings and that is doing contests.

I don't think it's good to ask for favours and only completed your offer once if I remember correctly because even I thought afterwards that it shouldn't be this way. Forum coin is so lenient maybe that's why they allow such things other forums may not allow this.

Forum ads lotto is an advertisement place thats why its allowed. I don't really earn much from doing that, I just did it to share money to people who say they struggle to make 5 dollars a month. I stop doing it because contests benefits members more.

What is not allowed is doing it in sections like BMW and non advertisement part of forumcoin. That is the one that is not allowed and will be reported.

We are all here to learn from each other, we are all free to reply or not to reply to posts. you have a choice no one forces you to respond to posts just do what you are comfortable with. If that is the way they would like to do it so be it, the decision solely lies with you.

How do you come to this conclusion? And, who are you to say that "others don't believe that their threads as good"?
Vehlijanta wrote:they keep asking other users to comment on their thread from time to time

Can you tell me how many times did I ask other users to comment on my threads in trendri?
Vehlijanta wrote:which I think is wrong

Who are you to think certain thing as wrong? Are you God sent?
Vehlijanta wrote:should be considered as begging

Again, who are you say "asking" others is to be considered as "begging"?
Vehlijanta wrote:equal to cheating the system

Let me know how "asking" others something cheats the system. I am not as well versed as you are and I cannot use words like "begging" as you do.

Asking For Favour Openly Isn't this Prohibited?

Why would we prohibit that? Asking for favors in real life and online is not a bad thing. We all ask for favors on occasion. Asking for help is a sign of strength. Obviously no one should ask for and expect help from others all the time, without being willing to help others in return.

I ask members for favors and help sometimes and have no intention of banning others from doing the same.

If you see a post that you believe is against our guidelines, please report that post. Reporting a post, is generally preferable to publicly criticizing and causing arguments with other members.

vehlijanta, See @Fergal's clarification, keep your mouth shut, mind your language, improve your online behavior, don't advice others when not asked, don't think yourself smart, and behave well.

Different Sites have different rules. in myLot for example we cannot ask someone to respond or comment on our posts.

Here at FC I did not know one could do that. Personally I will not.

I think there is nothing wrong in asking favours if it is not violating any rules and guidelines. Many users here ask for favours to read their articles, visit their sites and videos and leave comments there. They pay FCs in offer. I do not find anything wrong there and if it was wrong moderator and admin would have prohibited.

They are not favours when they pay for that service.
