Football (Soccer) fans unite! A year late (Thanks COVID-19!) but it is finally here... the moment where one national team is crowned the best in Europe. Who is going to win? Predict the winner before kick off and you could win some FC if you predict correctly between England and Italy.

I have worked on a new backend to easily set up, automate and manage these giveaways. It does mean there could be issues so please let me know if you receive any errors or notice anything.

I would so love England to win as it's been 55 years since we last held an important cup. I can remember I was 16 the last time and on holiday with my parents in a place called Swanage. I can recall the whole place was in a state of excitement and people were singing and shouting in the streets.

I hope so. I've heard theories about naughty referees and an advantage due to the fact England plays "at home", so nothing is carved in stone. Besides, Italy already won Eurovision (and UK was last), I don't want to be greedy but I gotta support my country anyway.

I don't think the referee did a perfect job but he seemed quite fair.

I couldn't watch the penalties so I went to have a bath and got my granddaughter to tell me the result. It all looked so hopeful for England when they scored early in the match. Well done to both teams .. maybe next time England.

Tyrone Mings one of England's players is from my home town and went to the same school as my granddaughter. Apparently his PE teachers always knew he would be big in football.

I missed the chance here. I had bet on Italy. I had no favorite and was not following the game. My husband was in favor of England and my elder daughter in favor of Italy. I chose to be with my daughter.
Italy won and it was definitely a nail-biting match. Winning after penality shot. No matter which team won after such a tough fight, finally a good football win for sportslover.

The black players who missed penalties have suffered some terrible racist abuse since the match. As it is defeat must be painful enough and the pressure on those players must have been intense without the personal insults. In my home town the police were called to stop people involved in antisocial behaviour .. sore losers who can't handle their drink. Pathetic.
