After studying this site for the past year and a half, it appears obvious that the primary goal is to share information in the three main categories:
CGT - Computers, Gaming & Technology
Webmaster Questions, Discussion & News
and
Business, Money & Wealth - BMW Forum
The primary benefit of participation in these specific categories is indeed to learn a lot and teach a little with each posted topic. When you add content, you are sharing something about that topic. You need to actually include added information that will further educate future readers about that topic. If you are not posting information that adds value to the topic, you are not contributing to the conversation. It is as simple as that. Don't post junk content for the sake of posting something.
ForumCoin has an articles section to increase site visibility in the online search engines. Members are asked to contribute content that adds value on a range of concepts including Technology, Making Money Online, Business, Personal Finance and Self Improvement.
You can earn 50FC by posting a quality article, and if it has value that attracts future readers, can earn an additional bonus of 100 FC with a minimum of 20 replies and 300 views. That generally means it has to be at least good enough that the search engines will include your article for online research.

For those who are just interested in idle chatter, the site includes a general topics category where you are permitted to discuss just about anything (legal and not offensive). You won't earn as much per post, but you don't have the added obligation to teach something in each post. Chatterbox content is not as offensive where it does not involve important issues.
And for those who want to take a break, ForumCoin hosts the games category. It is not there for your only activity, it is there to take a break just for fun. You won't earn much and you cannot earn reputation points for activity in the games. In fact, every entry in the games category automatically reduces your reputation score as you add content with no possibility of added reputation points.
To top it off, ForumCoin has its own virtual currency to use in trade with other members for offers in the ForumCoin Exchange category, or to use for low cost advertising, or even to trade for cash if that is your preference. The value of this site is in acquiring knowledge from the main category sections, but you do earn a small token amount for your participation.
Maybe we just need a target sense of direction. View this site as a place to learn a lot and teach a little in future participation to do all we can as a group to improve the overall quality of the content.
