Worthwhile posts contribute something of value to the conversation. Although length is not necessarily a sign of quality, your posts need to be long enough to fully explain what you are stating. In addition, you need to include content that will further educate future readers on the topic, even if your opinion includes a counterpoint to previous content without any added insults.

It is understood that English is not the primary language for many members. There are no grammar nazis around here, but you need to do your best with proper spelling, grammar, punctuation and sentence format so your statements can be fully understood.

Statements that just agree with a previous post, or give some expression of approval or disapproval but do not include content that adds value to the topic are basically needless junk posts.

OldGuy my good friend, I think in the past you came up with a good idea to encourage members to write "worthwhile /quality" posts. Is that still going? Perhaps we can revisit it or come up with something else. There is also a way to penalize needless junk posts. Perhaps that is an option that can be utilized to discourage that activity when it is overdone (which is often in some accounts). Positive reinforcement and negative reinforcement.

For me, a worthwhile post is something that has substance and relevance. An example is in this board that you can post something about earnings. But if you post about your lovelife then I think that is not relevant at all.

I think it is very important that you share your experience about something specific in a post, so other members can learn from it and they don't have to waste their precious time too finding out the same thing.

I agree to all of what you said above. A worthwhile post should have sense, like it gives additional info, just for a little research about the site and asking questions if you have an idea to give the post more sense. Sometimes I do not try to comment on a post when I only could say is that "I don't know about the site too and I am waiting for some ideas to read on".

Something that brings a fresh perspective, adds to knowledge, be it related to domains of Politics, History, Economics, Technology, Sports, day to Day life, scientific breakthroughs, Corporate News and more.
Things like what one has eaten in Breakfast, Lunch or dinner cannot be termed as worthwhile.
However, if suppose you have visited a city in say Europe or South America and have tried a Restaurant with an interesting recipe or some interesting way of serving people, that could be an example of a worthwhile post.
