If you just want to post an image:
Code: Select all
[img]*Image URL here*[/img]

To post a clickable image:
Code: Select all
[url=*destination url here*][img]*image url here*[/img][/url]

Some image upload sites give a premade "BBcode" code you can just copy and paste with the image link already included.

Also please note that the URL to the image needs to be a direct link to the image and not a link to the page where the image is so the URL needs to end with something link PNG, JPEG etc and not html, php or a non image extension.

this tutorial is all you need
viewtopic.php?f=5&t=1791

If you see this code in the beginning of the picture link,
data:image/jpeg;base64,

that picture cannot be embedded

Keep in mind that if you use free image hosting sites, your image can vanish without notice (sometimes in the same day). That is why I have my own hosting for $1 a month with a folder on it for "Pics" to stay in control.

To post snap shots in COMMENTS you should first click on preview when the upload attachment feature will be available to you.

Having images on your laptop will not work, they need to be online.

I always use images from my local folder. There is a provision to upload images.
