I enjoy this community but there are times that this site gets on my nerves. What are things from Forum coin that annoys you?


Here's mine.

1. Your Brand new thread with zero replies got buried to the bottom of first page, worst on page 2 because someone decided to bump multiple old threads from page 2 to up. With that no one will notice your thread anymore and it will be abandoned forever. Now I make sure the old thread bumpers are logged off before I make a new one. Hey there is nothing wrong about bumping old threads but please have mercy with zero reply threads. Give them a chance....

2. No Edit on articles- I have to make sure single minor detail on my article have no typos and error because once I click the submit button it is forever. I am now careful before submitting an article.

3.People getting banned- It is really sad when some people you are starting to like got banned... It is their fault though for violating the rules. But yeah I don't like it when someone I like gets banned but that is life.

4. limited emoji =It would be cool if we will have more of them.

My pet peeve is people only reading the title of a thread and then ignoring everything that others write. It makes me feel invisible. Sometimes I've answered a question 2 or 3 times on a thread because people do not read what I have written. I understand if the thread is dozens of pages long as it can be time consuming to go through it all but once I answered a question and then someone asked it again in the very next post!

With regard to the site .. I can't think of anything that annoys me too much but if I wrote articles the edit one definitely would because I sometimes see typos I made weeks ago and didn't notice. That will make me cringe to think that people have been looking at it

I now list down the username of the mass old thread bumpers and study when they stop posting so I can make a new thread without the risk of it getting buried. I actually bump other people's threads that is new before I make a new discussion and before I bump an old one.

@sprite1950 I experience that too but it is natural to happen in most typical threads in forums.

Im new here so really dont have any pet peeves yet, only thing I could think of is maybe when you click on your posts, that it actually took me to my posts. That would be helpful for me to know if I posted on someones thread already

I actually do Google searches to find old threads. I know stuff gets buried so I go and find it! Some of the old stuff is interesting. Am I on your list of old thread bumpers?

I've been here a little bit longer than you and I can only recall one person being banned who literally ASKED FOR IT! It had something to do with overuse of emojis and silly annoying comments. Other than that I think the site owners here are very reasonable and don't go around waving their Banning Wand and making members disappear.
