we don't officially offer BTC in exchange for ForumCoin. However, for those that want to exchange ForumCoin for BTC or other crypto currencies you can avail of this offer: Bitcoin or 7 other crypto coins for your ForumCoin

I am into Bitcoins, and would love to use the cryptocurrency here. But as Sir Fergal stated, I might avail of such offer after the Bitcoin split, or when Blockchain would be stable.

Well the benefits of it can be lower fees (hopefully more so in the near future), more anonymous, can be used to hold onto with the hope of that Bitcoin going up in value and ending up being worth alot more than the value it was when you received it and there are other personal reasons people may opt for it. However saying that, it is not really something you should get involved in just to get payments from here. It can be complicated to understand and if you don't really understand how it works, you may lose access to your BTC or send it paying a massive OTT fee or with a really low fee causing it to never confirm or take days to confirm.

Overall I think if you use Bitcoin, it probably is (in my opinion anyway) the better option to go with for the above reasons otherwise if you don't use it, I would recommend steering clear of it unless you want to use it for more than getting your FC earnings and willing to learn. With Bitcoin, you need to really understand it to use it to its full potential.

It seems the price for FC to Bitcoin is quite attractive, almost at 1 to 1 ratio, do correct me if I am wrong.

The above reasons apart, if the advantages and disadvantages of bitcoin (in both having it and using it) could be listed out, we can know which outweighs which and thus it would be a great help to ordinary people, especially those who may be new to the great weird online world.

Why exclude the information that you then go on to request? I listed reasons why (i feel) bitcoin is better and for who it is better for. Really what is better is opinion based anyway but I listed some general reasons and recommendations in my post so why do you want me to list them again?

How can you say like that? When they are capable of doing it with USDs, will they leave bitcoin alone? Who knows, already it may be happening too but not yet come to the fore.
