Hmmm.. well, that is a great milestone and it is very encouraging for those who might want to write articles. I am among those people. I will soon be looking into the article writing part of this forum, but I need to read all about it first. I need to learn the rules and so on.

I finally came up with a Series idea. News and Trends in Technology. As of today I am up to 96 articles.

When I joined this site April 2017, I did not know it would open up so many earning opportunities. I was especially surprised when I was approved to be an article writer. Yesterday I went through my article list and noticed that I have a total of 45 articles. Each time I publish an article, my account is promptly credited with 50 coins. If you review the FAQ you'll see that it says you can receive up to 150 coins for an article. After you earn 50 coins, if your article receives 300 views, you will receive 100 more coins. So far only 1 of my articles has received 300+ views; and when I requested payment, my account was credited promptly. To date, calculating the 45 articles times 50 coins plus the additional 100 coins earned for views, I have earned 2,350 Forum Coins just for writing articles at Forum Coin.

When my friend asked me to sign up I had no idea this site was going to be this good!

Thanks for taking the pain in showing me how to 'view' the views .I didn't have an idea that fc also have the feature of external promotion which increase our earning potential. I think it is only possible with articles,isn't so.

Writing for articles here is lower than upwork but upwork is stressful because you are forced to write about topics you don't like. Here you do you! Which is enjoyable.

I think it is only possible with articles,isn't so.

As far as I know it's just counts towards articles because you have to get a certain number of views to earn the extra 100 coins.

How much time do you spend writing an article?

The article requirement is 500 words. If it's a topic that I am not familiar with and have to research it may take a day (8 to 10 hours). If it's a subject I know I could probably write an article in anywhere from 2 to 4 hours.

It used to be you could write an article once a day. But now it's once every 2 days.

The good thing is once you're approved as a writer you don't have to wait for your article to be approved. It publishes as soon as you click the submit button.

That's not to say the owners don't review your content. Once or twice (it's been a while now), my articles were unapproved by Mr. Fergal after publication. He said they were written well but did not fall into the content categories or topics. The 50 coins were deducted from my account. I'm perfectly fine with the final decisions made the owners and the moderators. Forum Coin is one of the nicest sites I have ever been a member of. The members and the Admin folks are terrific!

(I know you only asked about how much time I spent writing. But I wanted to throw in that extra info about my experiences here to encourage you. )
