Actually there was a thread last year with similar question! I suggested that members with certain number of reputation points awarded extra posting options (in addition to their 10 paid posts although I know it's difficult to post even 10 posts every day for me) or the member be rewarded with a badge after certain number of posts/reputation points.

Reputation is your credibility. It is like your patch or insignia that you are a reliable, trusted and most helpful person in site. The higher it is, means you are very trusted. Me, I am being careful with my reputation. It doesn't give me more earnings but there are people who trusted me and became my referral because of good reputation.

Think of reputation as nothing more than trust. Because without trust, it's hard to be around with the other folks comments on specific things.

Reputation does not affect earnings but a bad reputation has the chances of being banned from this site. Well! if we can't make friends then getting a good reputation or points is difficult.

Pride in what you do is as important as what you earn, and sometimes pride is the greatest. This is simply because you can not pay to earn pride out of what you are doing.

I think it should be suggested that those with high reputations be added 50 forum coins or more per month. This could make it more usefull or rather very encouraging to those with high reputation.

I also vote for this, the only problem is the economic pinch that would be caused to the site if it really happens that way. Some people get high reputations due to their many quality posts, they could obviously benefit the greatest.

I feel scared that 3 people who responded above me got banned, I don't know what their violation is but their reputation are negative now. I think the best way to get positive reputation is to never be offtopic on the topics you will participate in. Also if you will make a discussion it better be a good content that can feed the mind. We are allowed to get loose on the game area but everything we type outside that should be good for the community.

I have checked on what you have mentioned above. Hoping that the admin or the moderator can give each one a chance. Maybe a warning is a good one to remind the members if u are not doing well in the forum. Or perhaps somehow we can tell about why they are banned. This is just a suggestion and I hope that they will reconsider. If we are not to earn with the reputation then I am sure that recieving those can also make us happy as I said, a motivation to go on and give our best in each discussion. Thanks

I do not think that it will help you earn more but it definitely motivates you to keep posting good posts. It is a feel good factor. But as per my understanding too much of negative points can put you in danger.

It will not but surely it will be a sign of respect as well as meant that you're posts or replies are helpful and useful. Although, I'm not sure the reliability of the reputation system because there's no limit on the use of it.
