Members come to ForumCoin to share ideas in a variety of posted topics. The only source of new topics is the members themselves. Most members seem willing and able to post comments on existing posts, but getting members to actually post new topics as part of their site participation is an ongoing struggle.
All topics are displayed as they are posted under the New Posts Link. New topics enter the mix, but members can also search the site archives and bring back older topics for added content. The new topics tend to blend in the mix and are even hard to notice as they travel the journey of time.
All posts are displayed for 7 days after the latest post and then drop off or retire from the displayed list. They don't get seen again until someone happens to do a search and bring them back for another run. If we don't have a regular supply of new topics, there is a reduction of topics to even discuss if all there is is a range of old topics you have already seen.

viewtopic.php?f=6&t=39931I began recording all new topics as they arrived back in late November 2024 and have been adding in the latest month's supply at the end of each month since then. You can go through that topic and find all the very latest new topics that have been added to the site, sorted by the date they were posted instead of the timing of the latest post. They don't drop off as they do under the New Posts link which is sorted by the timing of the posts for that 7 day display.
The point is, posting new topics should be a part of your site participation every bit as much as posting comments on existing topics. It is just that members seem to need prodding to get new topics posted. it is an ongoing challenge.
As long as you are new, I should also mention that you can learn everything you need to know as you navigate this site by visiting a topic posted by Fergal (the site owner) called
