There are some great tips in that article and I enjoyed reading them. Personally, the best way to break the debt cycle is to cut up all the credit cards, national ones and store brand ones. Then pay them off even if you have to consolidate all the debts and take out a loan to do it. I did this 6 years ago, and the only card I carry is my bankcard. If I don't have money in my bankcard, I can't buy anything since there is no credit card to fall back on.

I am slowly paying down my debt. Once its gone, I am sure something else will come along and put me back in. it's a never ending battle :?

This is a great article with some very good tips on saving money and to lower your debt. It is getting harder to do these days and any pointers can be beneficial. I am not working, so I have to be very careful of the money that I do have coming in. Especially when I go grocery shopping.
