ForumCoin Rates Update

Postby Fergal » 02 Jul 2015, 16:36

We are implementing an update of the ForumCoin we pay for posts in the various sections of the forum. The new payments are as follows:

  • General Chat - Off Topic: 2 ForumCoin per topic and per post
  • CGT - Computers, Gaming & Technology : 2 ForumCoin per topic and per post
  • Webmaster Questions, Discussion & News: 3 ForumCoin per topic and per post
  • Business, Money & Wealth - BMW Forum: 3 ForumCoin per topic and per post
  • New Member Introductions: 5 ForumCoin per topic and 1 ForumCoin per post
  • Posts in other forum sections also reward ForumCoin, but in smaller amounts, generally 1 or 2 ForumCoin per post and per topic.

We would love to increase the amount we pay per post, but given the earnings from the forum, these changes are necessary. For example, there have been days when I have paid out as much as $50 for ForumCoin cashouts.

Thanks for your participation and understanding!

I welcome these updated rates. We all understand how hard it is to earn from forums. Are you willing to share the figures from the start of the year how much you guys have earned compared to payed out?

We would all love to help! The problem is the ways we could all help is gaining more traffic which in turn would really just make your problem bigger.

I personally think you have to offer more services for forumcoin.

Also wheres the donate button? Get a bitcoin address and donate button down next to alexa. Also that alexa banners looking really lonely. Why not offer some square ads on other site?

Edit: Maybe also encourage users to deposit paypal for forumcoin, maybe say deposit $5 and get 125% in FC for example.

Thanks for your positive feedback and for those very helpful suggestions. Please do help by telling other people about the site, the more members and visitors we receive the better.

It is only very recently that we started working on building revenue and it is still very low. Much, much lower than what we are paying out. However, we are working hard at it and we are delighted with how rapidly we have been growing in recent times.

Yes, we do also plan on offering more services for ForumCoin soon.

Thanks again!

I'm tell you guys, you should have a sponsors page! I am sure many sponsors would pay to have their brand/name/link on the site!

Well I more than anyone would welcome a service for forumcoin. I have been around for quiet sometime and at times I had over 600FC easily but I never cashed out. I like to get posts for my forum and so on for FC cash rather than to cashout. Do feel for the Admins cashing out helps you but if you can live without cashing out than simply keep the FC and take it as a positive note instead and show of as the most FC earner instead. `The more you and I cash out the more trouble it will be for these Admins not being rude but help the community and try to keep money aside for time being.

Admins, you could try to put some ads in your forum. You have space at the side... Maybe if you have more ads=more money no? You want to win money with this, we users also would like to win some. So I wont be bothered if FC had loads of ads if it keeps paying me good money... Think about my suggestion :)

Fine by me. I at this point, am mainly here for the community, and not the ForumCoin. The FC are just a bonus! I do hope you guys start raising more revenue soon, because I don't see how you guys can keep paying out Paypal, and everything without making any money. So I hope these ads are working for you so far!

I welcome the change. I understand that during tough times things like this needs to happen. There is a positive way to look at this, we still are getting paid something to post and this is a great community which helps! I hope the forum can start earning some more income though.

I would rather this happen than the site lasting for only a short while longer or not paying out at all, because I don't want to spend the time trying to find a service that can replace this place.

I believe that soon will be one ForumCoin per topic and per post. The more the forumcoin "grows" smaller gains will be, will be decreased from 17 posts to 10, then 5 and so will going

So this is the reason why. I guess we have no choice because if it will not be changed, this site will surely die.

read the change of rate in the announcement. I think it was already edited by the admins last Thursday. Well, I think it's because of the number of people joining the forum. Of course, they also want to earn as well. I don't think there's anything bad in this change. We just need to be more active regardless of the rewards.

Hi Friends,

Yes I too observed the forumcoin rate has changed, may be they wish to invite more people to this forum by reducing the rates they will distribute the forumcoins to more members.
