Ultimately I would like to redo what is left of that referral mod but at some point soon we will be needing to work on converting over to phpBB 3.1 and that would be a good opportunity to add functionality and redo features like this. Ultimately I would like to start moving things away from the forum so things like the referrals, forumcoin and other aspects like that are moved to rely less on the forum and are more standalone. That way it is easier to maintain a handful of individual elements rather than everything relying on the forum software version and what extensions are available. Makes upgrading easier and allows us to be more future proof. Unfortunately when it comes to the technical side it is just me really so I have to prioritise what needs to be done and try and make things as easy to maintain as possible.
