I'm so happy that Resident Evil Code Veronica is finally having a remake, and I think they titled it just Resident Evil Veronica to make it sound more mainline instead of a spin-off. Code Veronica is basically the last adventures of the Redfield siblings together because first half of the game you play as Claire, second half of the game you play as Chris, and the puzzles of this game are really hard. It's basically the hardest Resident Evil game I've ever played. And I'm excited how they will modernize it because, you know, it's a great game but it didn't age well, so it desperately needs a remake. It seemed like Claire Redfield's original Resident Evil 2 remake model, Jordan McEwan, is back. They used her face again to play Claire. And if you notice, Claire is not that old here because this is just few months after Resident Evil 2.What makes me love Claire as a protagonist is unlike her brother Chris, unlike Jill Valentine and Leon Kennedy, Claire Redfield is a civilian. When around Resident Evil 2 and 3, she is a college student that sidelines as a babysitter. And then in Resident Evil Revelations 2, she is an activist and social worker. So she is not a secret agent, she's not a cop, she's not some super soldier. She's just a regular girl, but she can fight zombies, she can fight monsters, just out of, you know, her own courage because she got trained by her brother.
