If you operate such a business around town where majority are employed by organizations and companies, you will still face it. Since most of these work places don't work on public holidays and weekends, you can cook and get eaters since many will be home enjoying resting days. Holidays real complicated things as far as I know. I am in a holiday since last week. This is one of the longest these days. Stopper working on Thursday and will resume working on Tuesday. Very long and tiresome.

You are very right. I saw my neighbor who operated a small home shop business increase sales since many people were going to her for buying essentials. She got a boost because of the long holiday
