This is Princess Zelda one of the most iconic videogame characters in Nintendo. In the First Zelda game you play as Link, an elf warrior sent to rescue her.



Though she is a damsel in disstress on her first game, she eventually becomes a warrior princess. You dont play as Zelda when you play Zelda games though since you play as Link and its your mission to rescue her.



Super Model, Hunter Schaefer is rumored to play Zelda in a movie.


Half of the fans are happy because they think she looks exactly like Zelda. Half of the fans are angry because she is a transwoman playing the role of a biological woman. Some fans think she should play Poison from Street Fighter instead because that character is actually trans.

Hopefully she will play the role successfully and the fans will warm to her performance. Unfortunately, there may be people who are stuck in their beliefs and refuse to accept her in the role.

I am opposed to some trans activism, like I don't think that there should be trans women in women's sport, but sometimes I think people are just being mean for no reason. I can't see any reason why she shouldn't play a cis woman (assuming Zelda is cis, doubt they every explicitly said so, it's silly since she's fictional). The other way around would seem wrong - there are fewer trans roles so ideally trans characters should be played by trans people, but this really doesn't seem to be hurting anyone.

As long as she delivers it well, her sexual identity should not matter. Yes, many people are still traditional to come out of the set mindset and very rigid for accepting such things. Let's hope that she does justice to it and silences those opposing it. She does have a close resemblance to Zelda.

A lot of fans wanted Tom Holland, Walker Scobell and Timothy Chalamet. Then there are people that says if they will Cast Hunter as Zelda, They should cast Elliot Paige as Link.

Link is suppose to be Short and Blond.
