google game play games beta

Postby Netherrealmer » 20 Apr 2025, 16:44

Lets say there is a game in your android phone that is not compatible on your phone anymore, Well you can continue them on pc with Google Play Games beta, sadly Netflix games are not part of of it because Netflix wants you to play their games on your phone. It made me realize plants vs zombies 2 is more fun to play with a mouse. Some old android games not compatible on my phone anymore became compatible to my pc. your pc have to be at least windows 10 by minimum, anything older wont work.

Thanks Netherrealmer, I hadn't heard of this. Does it mean that Android apps can now run on a Windows 10 PC?

Yes it allows you to use phone apps on your pc. I have a game I play for 3 years and my phone is not compatible anymore.

It is another android emulator for Windows. I think Google take part of cake because Windows 11 should support Android but they give up. Bluestack was main player for several years but now it has good competition.

Exactly so, in fact I had been using Bluestacks for the emulation purpose back in 2017-2018 and it was mostly a hassle free experience. For years, I have not been using Bluestacks though, and I don't know if Bluestacks had kept with the improvements in Android and its ecosystem down the years.

Even Win 10 has a built in support to install apps from non-native( read Windows) stores, so it may have some rudimentary support for using Android apps

All those emulators are big and expected have good computers. I didn't find any good online emulator. There was one browser extension but it didn't last long on market.

This is nice, there are some games I would really love to try but can't cause they are no longer compatible with my phone. Unfortunately my laptop is not all that strong so I don't want to over stress it.

If BlueStacks fails to run on your machine like it does on mine, then most likely you need a high end PC that allows installing of android apps. I have seen people use it and which is why I was attempting an emulator but sadly it failed me up.
