Third Thumb is a prosthetic third thumb that attatches to your hand opposite your thumb. It allows you to grip things and manipulate objects better. It's controlled by the user's toes. It isn't attached surgically, and is part of a research project to help us better understand the way humans interact with prosthetic extensions.
So far it's just for research, but I wonder whether it will eventually become commercially available for people to use in addition to their regular thumbs, or to help people who are missing a thumb or part of a hand.
What do you think about this kind of technology?

That would be very cool. I'd kinda like something like Third Thumb for my feet for climbing and acrobatics. I do juggling on a balance beam and it would be much easier if I could grip stuff better with my toes.

I think this is inspired from Exoskeleton US military uses. This 3rd thumb increases your productivity while exoskeleton gives you above peak human strength. As in it will make you strong enough to lift Lizzo and Gabriel Iglesias at the same time.
