Black strip at the bottom of Samsung laptop screen

Postby niche » 27 Jun 2015, 07:33

A black strip appeared at the bottom of the Samsung laptop screen, where the taskbar will usually appear. The laptop uses Windows 7 starter edition. How to find out who is manipulating the laptop display settings remotely and how to reverse these changes?

This could be a driver issue.

Is your taskbar still visible?

It doesn't mean you have a black strip on the screen, someone is already manipulating your laptop remotely.

The taskbar was not visible, but managed to change the orientation of the task bar. However the color of the last few pixel rows at the bottom of the screen are changing from grey to black randomly as if they are being manipulated remotely using wifi network. Want to know how this is being done, what are settings being changed
