Will they keep a blue check mark

Postby Streamguy69 » 07 May 2023, 20:03

I have noticed since twitter started to charge a monthly fee for the blue check mark that mostly all of them who had it are dropping it. The so called greedy owner of twitter thought it would be a great idea to charge for this. This is something that they have earned just for having the right amount of followers and being active on their page. I know this because a friend of mine who had a blue check does not have one anymore and they posted that they were not gonna pay for it.

I think the greediness for the owner would let him down on the number of users as most of them can't be in the capacity to pay for the service.

I did not know that. I am not even at 1000 yet. I am close but not there. I will most likely never see a million

Now we are going to see lots of fakes with some big famous username with a blue tick and everyone's gonna think they are the real one

Yes I think so but I know a few celebs that had the blue mark and then got rid of it but sent me a message telling me they did

I think that a blue check mark is a meaningless status symbol to most people without a lot of money. I think Twitter will soon realise this fact and drop the idea of charging users for the blue check mark.

Those that don't want to pay for it don't value it. It is not bad for to pay for a badge.
