Since her debut there now over 30 playable female characters in the series. They are always attractive because majority of players of fighting games are men.


Heck even Poison the first transgender woman Street fighter character is attractive.


In Street Fighter 6, Capcom decided to break the mold and make a female character who is unconventional. Most men wont find her attractive. She is Marisa, An MMA fighter from Italy.



She is over 350 lbs of muscles instead of fat. She is bigger than Zangief. Now All street fighter needed now is a fat female character. Marisa is also not meant to be pretty, as you see her face is not conventional.


She is either created for feminist or for men with Muscular amazon fetish. I think Capcom took risk on making this character after the success of Lady Dimitrescu.

Amazonian women is more acceptable in the West. Street Fighter is a Japanese IP so having a big woman will be ground breaking because Japanese audience wants petite kawaii women.

Marisa's winpose is that she carries your unconscious body to bring you to hospital.

It should be seen as a welcome step. They are trying to have inclusion here with all kinds of characters...with different body types and sexual orientation. A lot is being talked in the society about the inclusion. We have to accept people the way they are. No stereotyping and prejudice about beauty, gender and sexual orientation. I think games and other entertainment forms are also coming forward embracing it. Beauty lies in the eye of the beholder. We never know Marisa might get as popular as the other previous characters who were conventional beauty.

Well WWE currently have Muscular and fat women in their roster.

For fat women they have Nia Jax, Piper Niven and Nikita Lyonns.

For Muscular women they have Rhea Ripley who might become champion after wrestlemania, Ivy Nile who havent ate a single carb for 5 years, Tiffany Stratton,Raquel Gonzalez whos really tall.
