I know most people use Windows OS than Mac OS, Linux or Ubuntu. Computer operating systems can be categorized by technology,ownership, licensing, work state, usage, and by many other characteristics hence the reasons why we have many kinds of OS. The reasons why I use and like Windows OS is it's affordable price and the fact that you can find most applications online which it supports due to its popularity (widely spread/used). What I dislike about it it's frequent crashes and exposure to virus attacks unlike the Mac OS.

What can you say about your Operating System?

I use Windows 10 on my home PC and Windows 7 on my work laptop. The primary reason I use Windows is because that's the OS every company I've worked for uses. When you used Windows and Microsoft Office the documents you create, e.g. on Word, Excel and Powerpoint, can be read and edited by most other computer owners, without having to worry about converting them to another format.

Mine is Win 7 Home Premium, I love the easy to use facilities. I had tried Win 10, don't know where to click the button or where to go. I can't find the control system, wordpad, etc. So confused. Win 7 is better, just like the old Win

For me, it is very slow and crashes every now and then. I spoke to many persons. No one could offer a viable solution to this.

I use Windows 10 for my desktop and Elementary OS (like Ubuntu) for my laptop. I would switch to linux completely if it had support for: adobe products (photoshop etc.) and Microsoft Office (there are alternatives but I like Office 365).

I like that Elementary OS is very easy to use, doesn't hide away the terminal, has an app store and is beautifully designed. I like coding on Elementary OS it seems like it was designed for it.

Windows, Mac and Linux share the same hardware now, so the only advantage has the mac on windows is the operating system, as Apple say in the commercial: "It just work", this is why Installed the Mac OS on a simple PC destined for Windows, I use also Linux , and wonder like any Linux hard core out there, why Windows is still around.

I have windows 7 but preferred windows xp merely because I was so used to it.

I am a Windows 10 user. I find it way better than Windows 8.1 which was a mess for me personally. There were many bugs and the interface was not user friendly. Windows 10 has been excellent for me so far. I love the UI although the updates are very frequent.

Win 10 64 bit atm . Switched from Win 8.1 just cuz I thought it will give me more FPS but its kind of the same so... It did give me a bit of development/productivity performance but not gaming ( apart from 1 game where I had huge fps increase Dead by Daylight )

Maybe windows 10 has a lot of bugs for some people, but for me, it's very fast and very beautiful. I will vote five stars for windows 10

I am on windows 7 ULTIMATE. I will stick with this probably for a long time to come. Windows 8 as one user posted is a mess, and Windows 10 just doesn't offer the same user functionality and ease that I am used to.

Mine happens to be Windows OP and the only thing I hate about it is that it hangs sometimes, maybe it's because of too may applications I have installed in the phone.
