So, we are at the beginning of 2025 and I think it is also a good thing if we can talk about our significant achievements in terms of finances in 2024. Wait, do we have any? I believe we do. Personally, one of the significant achievements I had in 2024 is the fact that I survived the year without availing a loan or renewing my existing loans, Yey! I'm so proud of myself. You know, being an employee with a meager salary, I thought I could no longer get away with this routine. I hope I can sustain this and that I could repay all my existing loans so that I could receive a good amount when I retire (that would be in 13 years or less). I was also able to avail of a lot where we can build our home in the city. Though this one is not fully paid yet but I am happy that I was able to avail a low cost lot in our area.

So, how about you guys, what significant financial achievement did you had in 2024? Happy New Year!

That's good to know. Personally, my main achievement so far is having to pay a certain percent of my loans and not renewing and availing a new one. It's not easy to live from paycheck to paycheck but it is more difficult is if we have loans more than we can manage.

i have a lot planned put for this year but I would not want to pressure my self over achieving my goals i intend to take one step at a time i do hope hope i achieve all my goals i am not only planning but i am also working towards achieving my dreams

2024 was a great year for me. I have made several investments through the year and have enjoyed profits each time. My total balances are now high enough that I no longer need to consider life insurance. My monthly premiums are now simply added to investment deposits. I'm now officially self insured. My heirs will be very happy to see me kick the bucket even though they don't know it yet.

Yes investing in viable stock is really a good investment. you would make the best of it overtime

Beginning of 2024 was great yes i said its was great because, i was able to open a farm this has been my long time dream to own a fish farm and yes i did it.
Fortunately towards the end of the year, i lost everything because i left my farm to a worker to handle it .This was how i lost everything i worked so hard to achieve so, i will say that 2024 was a year to remember.
Sadly i am yet to recover from the loss hope fully i pray 2025 brings good tidings

Last year was quite unpredictable but I did well in the later part of the year, hoping this year will be good

While I did had some good receivables from various sources, expenses of all kinds - rental place change, Medical and others tested me severely.
I think while my Net Balances might not be very strong, I have become much more planned, aware of my goals and gained better knowledge of the Financial Markets.
Plus I have become more rational in decision making wrt Stocks and Mutual Funds and even Crypto.
Of course, much more remains to be done in 2025 but well 2024 was a big learning year for me.

That is very important!
Often we tend to make irrational buys with credit cards. Sometimes I too have been guilty but now trying to be more rational.

Yes as the economy is biting it is good for wise people to do rational thinking and take decisions that way too
