I Got Another Valpak Mailing Today; Do You Get Valpak?

Postby friendociate » 12 Mar 2023, 01:44

It's a collection of coupons & advertisements from your local stores (in American locations ... maybe international? or maybe your area has something different?), mailed to you if the address you give them is within 'the blue envelope distribution zone.'

I'm not interested in what's inside the envelope (although  A $100 CHECK COULD BE IN THIS ENVELOPE :lolno: ), but another note on the outside of it says to FIND YOUR OWN ADVENTURE! ...

VALPAK.COM/D&DMOVIE

I open the envelope, and the first thing I notice is writing on the inside---instructions on 'how to fold one of the "coupons" into a paper shield.... But no $100 check :problem:

And I say 'Coupons' because they're not all "Coupons"; Valpak calls them "Inserts," because the word "Coupon" means something different.

The wordroot that gives us "Coupon" actually means "Piece Cut Off (from a word that means 'a Cutting Blow (see Coup)')."

"Tier 1" & "Tier 3" ... is that what's known as "First World-" and "Third World Countries"? (Because when I look it up, 'tier 1' can apply to "supply-chain," "funding," "special ops forces" ... Oh; I added "countries" to my search, then added "or first world countries"; and see that they took 'the old terminology' (developed during a war before I was born) and transferred it to the new for MARKETING PURPOSES (the same reason they invented 'generation groups' (millennials, Gen X-ers, Baby Boomers, X-ennials)).
