Oh wow the price of eggs has gone crazy now. I do not know why but things are nuts now.
This is just going crazy. I think we need a new President soon. One that take down inflation
and make eggs great again

There was a bird flu a while back and they had to kill a lot of chickens. That's why eggs have nearly tripled in price. I don't really think it has to do with inflation because even when inflation was at its peak, the price of eggs remained decent. Now it's much more expensive. If you have a Costco, get your eggs there because that's where you'll get the best bang for your buck.

keep a pair hens or female ducks. Give them a high protein diet and get unlimited eggs until they become menopaused.

some of my friends have a lot of hens.. i might tell them to give me or sell me a couple. But yes its going to get to the point where people need to have their own hens to get eggs.

You dont need roosters to get eggs, since eggs are their menstruations and roosters are banned in cities but hens, are legal because they are not noisy. Also even if it's illegal you can keep them secretly since they are not noisy. Female ducks are good too since they get menopause at age 9. Chickens get menopause at 3.

Once your girls are menopaused, your choice is between keeping them as a pet with no benefit or turning them into soup boiled for 8 hours. (old hens have hard meat, need to be pressure cooked.)

depends on her age breed and diet. I got 20 to 30 eggs a day from 8 hens. The heigher protein their diet have, the more eggs they provide.

Eggs are quite expensive in Hong Kong too. I need to pay USD4 for 10 eggs. They are eggs imported from Japan which are larger and more delicious. Eggs from mainland are a bit cheaper.

Are offal meats cheap in the US? You can by them as chicken feed, they are high in protein so those hens will lay more eggs.

Same here in Nigeria. There's an increase of about 100 percent increase now.
