I just saw two members who makes plagiarized replies. You know Plagiarism can put a website in trouble, as in $40 thousand dollars lawsuit. Do not skip reading the rules and guidelines before making a post because things like this happens a lot of time. It is a bannable offense. Forumcoin wants your opinion about things, not copypasted stolen stuff. I have a plagiarism checker so I can easily know you are plagiarizing.Also regular members, even the ones who dont like me are my eyes and ears when it comes to violations like this. Do no plagiarize.


There was a website that ends up becoming a scam because it cannot paid members anymore because the owner got lawsuits because of plagiarizers from members of a certain country. Lawsuits can kill a PTP in few seconds.

You cannot do it in forumcoin, Mylot or any other PTP, Plagiarism is criminal offense.

Plagiarism is a serious offense and it can lead to serious legal issues. Every site is very clear and loud about this. Not sure why people still sort to such practices just to make some extra pennies. Writing on forums like Forum Coin is not so tough. You have to share your opinions in few simple sentences. It's just like conversation in real life. Why would one put so much effort in copy and paste for such simple thing that happens easily.

Their usual excuse is that english is not their first language. It is not my first language too and we now have free tools like grammarly and quillbot that can improve their english. They can use google translate so they can read and understand the threads and articles so their posts will make sense.

I totally agree there. You might need a good command over English to write quality articles. And you are right that there are many tools available online to help us with writing a grammatical correct piece. When it comes to forum discussions, one just needs to be familiar with the language. You need to be just clear and understandable. As long as you are able to convey yourself to others, you are good. And writing on your own will help you improve your English as you do it more. Copy and paste from other sources would not even help to improve your English. It's just a shortcut that would finally end up you getting banned.

Banned 100’s of members for blatant plagiarism. What users don’t realise, even re wording or paraphrasing what someone else has said comes under the plagiarism umbrella. Without being stereotypical or prejudiced I’ve also seen a lot of the African members who have the tendency to copy and paste another users reply and pass it of as there own.

Both, can be blatantly obvious even without a plagiarism scanner if the user doesn’t usually talk in that writing style. Not going to name who sent this but a member sent a ban appeal stating that they’re teacher taught them to ‘paraphrase’ as part of an English assessment.

I think people generally look for short cuts while making money online, and don’t actually realise or care it’s illegal. For example, filling in fraudulent information on a survey!

Can you add some part in rules where Forumcoin will remove article but will send all data about user on forum who post it like: IP, full name, device, OS, browser.
Can this protect forum or website from lawsue?

Plagiarism is really not accepted in any forum. It's very unhealthy for the posters themselves as in they could not grow intellectually.

Some users just don't learn and they copy paste the idea of other user and post later on and some are even worse who copy paste the whole thing lol

Apart from plagiarizing, some people are also publishing the same post on multiple platforms. This is also a big issue.

I can feel you with this matter. Literacybase are infested with people who do this. I was dismayed and decided to delete my account in this site.
